Nepal is the country of the Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world. There are 23 officially identified indigenous peoples such as Thakali, Bote, Raute, Hayu, Jirel and Kusunda. The Raute, Nepal’s last nomadic tribe, are hunter gatherers, only 156 now survive and are resisting attempts to move into permanent settlements.
