VENDÔME

The octagonal Vendôme square and the arcaded buildings surrounding it were built between 1687 and 1721. In March 1796, Napoleon married Josephine in the building at number 3. Today, it houses the luxurious Hôtel Ritz Paris and some of the city's most fashionable boutiques.
